Dr. Aileen Buckley is a Professional Cartographer and has been making maps for over 30 years. She was a professor at the University of Oregon, and she’s also taught at the University of Redlands since moving to California 13 years ago. Aileen travels the world to talk about cartography and show people how to make better maps. She also writes a lot about this and is an author of the "Atlas of Oregon" and a textbook on cartography called “Map Use”. She was a president of the American cartographic society, and she now represents the U.S. to the International Cartographic Association.
